Ciproken Eye/Ear Drops are indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms in the following conditions:
Corneal Ulcers: Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Serratia marcescens, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus pneumoniae
Bacterial Conjunctivitis: Haemophilus influenzae, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus pneumoniae
Other ocular infections: keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis, blepharitis, blepharoconjunctivitis, dacryocystitis; prophylaxis of ocular infections due to Neisseria gonorrhoeae or Chlamydia trachomatis; prevention of ocular infections before or after removal of a corneal foreign body or ocular surgery
Ear infections: otitis externa, acute otitis media, chronic suppurative otitis media
Prophylaxis in otic surgeries, such as mastoid surgery
Ciproken Tablets are used in adults for the treatment of:
Urinary tract infections and lower respiratory tract infections
Skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, and gastrointestinal infections caused by susceptible Gram-negative and Gram-positive aerobic bacteria
Uncomplicated gonorrhoea caused by penicillinase-producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae
